After more than 2 years in the Philippines, Welcome Finance Philippines (WFP), a subsidiary of Welcome Financial Group (WFG) from Korea, unveiled its first branch which is located in San Fernando, Pampanga last July 11, 2016.
The grand branch opening was graced by executives headed by WFG Chairman Jong Joo Son, WFP President Suk Sub Shim, Welcome Creditline (Korea) CEO Sae Young Chang, and other VIPs from both WFG and WFP.
The event started off with the branch blessing of Fr. Deogracias Galang and culminated with a heart-felt prayer offering from WFG Gil Ran Park.
Those who also attended this prestigious event are prominent business owners in and around City of San Fernando and Pampanga namely Mrs.
Teresita Razon, Owner of Razon’s Halo-Halo. Also those in attendance are WFP’s sales partners and suppliers.

WFG Chairman Jong Joo Son expressed excitement and optimism over the growth and development of WFP’s performance since it started 2 years ago. “We in Welcome Financial Group are very much happy with progress of our business here in the Philippines. We look forward to seeing Welcome Finance Philippines grow further in the coming years, being our first company outside of South Korea.”

Meanwhile, WFP President Suk Sub Shim also announced that they are also excited to expand their branch network within the next 5 years. “Currently, we will be opening another branch in Sta. Rosa, Laguna to serve our growing number of customers in the South Luzon area. We are also planning to put up more branches in the next 5 years in strategic areas all over the Philippines which will eventually position WFP as the preferred financial services company in the coming years.”
Michael Macalinao, WFP Pampanga Branch Manager, assured their existing and future customers that they will deliver the most reliable and world-class financial services in the Central Luzon region. “We are now aggressively expanding and accepting loan applications particularly from provinces from Bulacan, Pampanga, Bataan, Zambales, Nueva Ecija and Tarlac. We do hope that WFP Pampanga will help their preferred financial service provider in our area”, said Macalinao.
